Manual 1-2 Upshift - In TunerPro what does it mean?

Hi all,
I'm learning, (aren't we all) but cant seem to find an answer to this.
In TunerPro what is it referring to under the category "Automatic>Manual 1-2 Upshift %TPS Vs KPH".

I am unsure what that setting would actually adjust on the VX Commodore Auto trans. I am thinking it is if you have the gear selector stick in one of the gears # 1,2 or 3. Then at the table values, it will either limit or force the trans to change gears to up shift?

Is someone able to explain that to me please.

Basically yes. Even when you manually select gears it will force a shift into the next gear.
