The green one is obdlink mx. Its a very slow interface and people have a lot of problems with them. Not recommended.

Note that that video is almost 3 years old. The obdlink tools (aka the green one) were used a little more often back before OBDX Pro started selling their tools but as antus has mentioned, they (obdlink tools) have a lot of problems, and LS Droid has stopped supporting them because of all of the issues they cause.

The obdlink lx also costs more than the OBDX Pro VT now, so I don't see why anyone would bother to buy one. They were $50 a few years ago but now that they're $90 and better, faster, cheaper tools exist? Why bother?

Well, if its listed its different. It tells you the differences between the two. So -1% or 200 rpm different. The headings with nothing under them mean no differences in that category. The blank parts of the table mean they are the same. It looks like mostly small tweaks to the auto tuning to liven it up a bit, and the abuse mode will let you go a bit harder under 2k rpm. All those changes would probably liven up a non-gt quite nicely if you used them as is, the only things that probably you need changed are the pulses per mile which is 200 different, the vin to match your car, and the security disabled. Then you somehow need the file written to the pcm.

The 200ppm difference is PROBABLY due to the GT having a 150MPH Speedo while the SE has a 120MPH unit.
Good to know as I picked up a GT cluster awhile back!

I THINK the GT has a 3.29 final drive ratio while the SE has 3.05.

Unless the SE came with 15" wheels, the OD of the tires SHOULD be the same:
My SE has 205/55/16 tires OR it could use 225/50/16 (probably what your GT came with)
On the other hand, I have a friend that has 195/60/16 on his 2004 SE.

I pulled the calibration history from GM. Some of the differences could just be year to year stuff too. Looks like his GT is the 2nd most recent version and his SE is the very first version.

For whatever it's worth, the desktop site says the same thing. "From $80" and when you click on it, the cheapest thing on there is $119.47.
