Allpro firmware on the Maccina M2 would be really cool.
Or any other hardware, for that matter, but the M2 is still shipping, which counts for a lot.
I just noticed that Alex's GitHub repo is gone.
I have the firmware binaries, but I never did clone the repo.
Antus has a forked copy here: https://github.com/antuspcm/allpro
Apparently Alex made some changes a year or two after that repo was forked:
https://web.archive.org/web/20201022160 ... Net/allpro
I'm guessing those changes weren't too significant, but I'm not really sure... The fork happened around the time PCM Hammer work started, and the Allpro was already working at that point.

Hi all;
NSFW, none of the links on web.archive seem to be working for me.

Sorry, I should have been more clear - they don't work for me either.MudDuck514 wrote:Hi all;

One can only wonder what changes he made in between Antus' fork and removing the repo. But, I suspect it's not major, because we did a bunch of PCM Hammer development before those changes were made.
