Having troubles with the newest(released 3-31-11) tp5 with data tracing, I have a nicely defined xdf & sorted the adx out with the offset for vs l67 but now when I’m looking at my log’s & open up the hi octane table & enable data tracing there is no black bubble & same with the fuel table or any table’s for that matter. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
It does intermittently flash up DA:error down the bottom of tp5 & not sure why it’s doing this or if it can cause any issues as such, but log’s seem to play back fine!

Re: TP5 Data Tracing
you need to make sure the data types are the same in the xdf and adx otherwise it wont work
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: TP5 Data Tracing
edit the xdf and adx items, say VE and make sure the data type is the same thing
example, in the $12P xdf the ve table on the rpm scale has the data type as "Engine Speed" make sure the adx has the same thing for its engine rpm item, and for the map sensor scale it has "manifold air pressure"
if they are the same types in adx and xdf then it will work

Re: TP5 Data Tracing
not just that... you also have to go into the properties of your table and on the "DA Assoc" tab, go and define your link mode for x and y axes and set it to "Data type / units match".
