my MTX-L is located in the inner passenger gauge, but its not a daily driver!

appeared to have successfully extended the lead on the sensor last night, seems to operate as normal

Which wire from the MTX-L do I use for the ecu pin out?

yellow or brown will both work, I believe yellow is analogue 1 and should be already setup for wideband input where as analogue 2 I think is to simulate narrowband ?

would i need to wire in the analogue 2 narrow band simulation wire too?

I've never worried about that. On my spartan the simulated output didn't appear to accurate anyway.
Possibly my fault too who knows.
