Re: tuner pro
It sounds like the USB->serial drivers are broken. You should see all ports that are available and working in the list, and should not try and move them around. Without knowing what type of cable you have, try and see if newer drivers are available from the manufacturer.

Re: tuner pro
you don't necessarily need to get an interface from here but we also can't really trouble shoot what we don't know ....
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: tuner pro
make sure you downloaded the VCP driver from ftdi, the other one doesnt give you the virtual com port.

Re: tuner pro
Can also try the flashtool (https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... p?f=3&t=82), see if it can list and use the port.

Thanks for sending the pic of the guts.
Its a home made interface with a pic processor, so that probably means its some kind of ELM compatible device (or similar) and designed for logging some other protocol. You might need another interface.

Re: tuner pro
Looks like its using pin 9 which is ALDL, but would likely need to contact the seller and get drivers for it if windows is not detecting it properly.
