Is there a place I can get a AVT device without paying a small fortune for it.
I haven't had time to test if a HP Tuners or EFI Live cable will work but doubt it.
Don't make excuses. Make more horsepower.

Those propriety cables wont work. At this stage it needs to be an AVT. They are a good quality cable, and the ones Im selling include the wideband input so you will be able to log wideband in the datastream in tunerpro with jaymes ADX v1.5 or greater (when its released) http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2314

I have a couple of cables available now and will get more if there is enough interest. I'll send you a PM as price is not finalised.

Can this program be used to unlock a PCM that has been locked by EFI live or HP. Can I load a bin file from a ECM that has had VATS disabled onto another PCM.
Can u PM me a price on the AVT cable

If I give you the seed for my P12 PCM, can you add it to this program?

From what i understand, it can be supported just like any other pcm, with the correct seed/key combo. As in if your program can talk to an 0411, it would work with the P12 if the seed/key algorithm was added.

But by all means school me if this is incorrect.

Hey guys,

LOVE the flash tool. Just tried to read a bin from my 2002 GMC Duramax M6. I think there has been some interest in a manual truck bin so I thought I'd put mine up. However, I can't seem to get the bin to read. A log is attached below. I'm using an AVT-852 cable.

It appears that it unlocks the PCM, but then doesn't go into 4x mode??? The last sequence would just repeat every time I requested a read. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hmm yeah im not sure whats happening there. The first unexpected error is the disable message transmission denied, before it trys to get the key the first time. Without this command working other devices will keep talking on the data bus and that is probably the cause of the rest of the trouble, such as the first attempt to unlock not getting the key. I reckon stands a chance of working as in on a bench test environment, if you have one.
