AH yeah kinda.. I see why is going wrong now *Dough*

So Iv been sending:
ATZ + vbCr (Same as easyOBDII)
Which is in hex:
41 54 5A 0D

And What I have been receiving is (according to the logs):
ATZ + vbCr + vbCr (Meaning there is TWO end carriages! Because the elm echos this back! Thats where its going wrong! Easy enough fix there!)
Which in hex is:
41 54 5A 0D 0D


And the response I want is:
41 54 5A 0D 0D 0D 45 4C 4D 33 32 37 20 76 31 2E 33 61 0D 0D 3E ATZ...ELM327 v1.3a..>

So I can see the echo "ATZ+ vbCr + vbCr " then it does a new line "vbCr" then it sends the "ELM327 v1+ vbCr".
Then it does another new line: "vbCr" and then fires off ">" without a end carriage, which is strange.. will have to find response.. then check for any more data.. if not, read any bytes left.. which should be the ">" of 3E in hex.

Alright.. back soon with a new revision!

I was going to plug it into my car but I needed net7? or something like that for my laptop and it started getting too hard. I am having problems getting it to connect to the net to download the required software to try it.

Alriiiiight, I put my old app through with the new info... and it failed.
New revision worked good with the new info.

charlescrown if its a cable like mine you will need to supply it power and earth on obd plug mine wont detect without power
