Virtual Dyno

Post by vc81 »

Hi all,

Has anyone ever used a program called virtual dyno? Just wondering if it is a useful tool or not. Here is the link to it http://www.virtualdyno.net

Thanks,

What details did you put in for the type of vehicle delco? Or did you just use the Monaro one?

How do you get it to work? I tried loading your test run but nothing happens?

you need to setup a custom car which is the file i attached, once that's in your custom catagories in cars list then you can open a log, it will show up on the left then and you can select the custom car and fill in all the details and play with the graph. My tyres are 235/45/17

OK got it now. I made up a custom car for my car but the log I tried was too large. I need to cut out a portion of a tunerpro log and use that or just record a specific log. Thanks

you can veiw raw csv data in the program and cut out a section thats at full throttle and rpm rising.its a bit of a pain to use but shows promise.going out and doing a heap of full throttle launch logs would be the way

yeh like anything i guess just use it as a reference is you can't get to a dyno, use the same settings, ill dig up my other log as this one is before i put the rockers on and do an after rocker comparison.
