What wide band tail pipe bracket are people using?

Post by Dylan »

Done some tuning on a car today using my wide band mounted at the tail pipe on my home made bracket.
The readings weren't very accurate. Might look at buying one of the innovate one's.
After some improvising I had improvements. This car had no provision to fit one in the extractors like normal.
Post up some pics or links I'd be interested to see what others are using.

Why don't you just get a bung welded in ? Be cheaper

Have an innovate clamp, used it a couple of times on cars with no cats and was ok with stable readings. Nearly fell off once so now gets cable tied so it will just swing and not end up dragging along.

Yeah tailpipe sniffer that my local dyno uses is completely 100% useless for idle. Have to tune idle by ear there!

Seems to be common. What do you use now?

we have an innovate, dyno dynamics and microtech, all work fine for me

must admit that the innovate one can fall off too easily on the road though... we always tie them to the car.

bung is the easiest way for ongoing tuning
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...
