Ford = Fix or repair daily

Im not minding the XR8, kinda like driving a boat :D .
Avoided the BA/BF XR6 turbo series since Iv only read tonnes about issues with turbos seizing and failing.
Its pretty much the old mans pride and joy now, not sure how hes gonna take it when its to be sold for an FG.

I don't know what use the program is without the key reader which is over a grand. If it can work via the OBD connector maybe someone will experiment and lets know what adapter they use.

The free part of this is the code calculator only. To use it in its intended form you do need their hardware (and maybe its a good buy?). But the on screen key calculator is free.

To use another cable would require other software (aftermarket or factory software?). Once software which uses J2543 is found then any J2543 cable should work, including the $200 MDIs from China which are probably the best and cheapest J2543 interfaces out there, provided you can find a real one which is not rubbish. Thats probably easier than it used to be, though.

I finally just went to use the TM100 & only problem is you need the outcode to generate the incode, so is there a program that generates the outcode from the vin or similar?

Does your tool not tell you the outcode? Does it give any details at all?
