Definitely will. I have it in the app but just commented out at the moment since I need to test it a bit more and add better timed "delays" between chunks. :thumbup:

any update on the write function have a new ecm that hasnt been delinked to car it was pulled out of and have to load a new bin to it from old ecm to be able to relink the vats makes things hard how gm set it up but gess sugar happens just gotta go about things differently aye

Security linking is completely different thing for the VZ V6 ECU's.

Writing in the bin from the old ECU will not security link in the new ECU unfortunately.

It happily reads out the full tune of a VZ V6 ECU using an ELM cable. The writing (kinda) worked although I had dramas with detecting the "Im slow.. please wait" messages from the ECU using the ELM327 so that needs revisiting before writing is enabled again.

But, would be good to start collecting some VZ V6 files I guess. Ill be uploading them as I get them :thumbup:

Wont work with the E69.

Different ECU's have different unlocking algorithms, different bin sizes and some require custom bootloaders.

I've been told the seed/key algo is the same between e55/e69 guess I'll just have to try it when I get a chance. Bin size is also the same.
