Nice work Tazzi Impressed it all works with the ELM and its difficult command set/formatting!
Re: VZ V6 ECU - The uber duber bin remover!
nice, will it be able to write at some stage?
Re: VZ V6 ECU - The uber duber bin remover!
Definitely will. I have it in the app but just commented out at the moment since I need to test it a bit more and add better timed "delays" between chunks.ejukated wrote:nice, will it be able to write at some stage?

Security linking is completely different thing for the VZ V6 ECU's.
Writing in the bin from the old ECU will not security link in the new ECU unfortunately.

It happily reads out the full tune of a VZ V6 ECU using an ELM cable. The writing (kinda) worked although I had dramas with detecting the "Im slow.. please wait" messages from the ECU using the ELM327 so that needs revisiting before writing is enabled again.
But, would be good to start collecting some VZ V6 files I guess. Ill be uploading them as I get them
Hi.Tazzi.
I do not open the software VZBinReader.exe .
I need can read ecu vz .
How can i do?
In software is missing some file to open to work with elm327?
Thank you.

Re: VZ V6 ECU - The uber duber bin remover!
anyone tried this on an E69?
Re: VZ V6 ECU - The uber duber bin remover!
Wont work with the E69.ejukated wrote:anyone tried this on an E69?
Different ECU's have different unlocking algorithms, different bin sizes and some require custom bootloaders.

I've been told the seed/key algo is the same between e55/e69 guess I'll just have to try it when I get a chance. Bin size is also the same.

Iv not tried on one, so absolutely no clue!ejukated wrote:I've been told the seed/key algo is the same between e55/e69 guess I'll just have to try it when I get a chance. Bin size is also the same.
