Logging fuel pressure

Post by TdracerTd »

Hi all, not delco related, but I have need to log fuel pressure. Doe anyone know of a standalone tool that could give us rpm vs fuel pressure?

Maybe you could use the wideband input on your ECU?

Holden202T recommended this sensor a while back. It outputs 0-5v so you could do something like that. On a delco it'd be reasonably straight forward because we know what we can use as analog inputs. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261260635816

Innovate lma3 will do what you want, will need the sensor antus linked or something similar. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lma3.php

GM flex fuel cars have fuel pressure sensors and can be had cheap used.

I'm interested to see how these sensors all go over time, as I have had some issues, but I suspect it is related to methanol rather than the sensor itself!

Don't plan to have the sensor in the car permanently. Just need to confirm whether the issue we're seeing is related to fuel pressure as the internet says, or if we are barking up the wrong tree. A logger like that will likely make it's way into my permanent kit as diagnostic tool for future issues. :)
