spark advance calculator

Post by djbrooksy »

Found this in travels on the interwebs
Sort of handy, even if just to play and learn from.
Injector DC Calculator-1.xls
(97 KiB) Downloaded 1212 times
Knowing the Gemini has a static timing of about 8°
Depending on age of dizzy, mechanical advance of about 10° and much the same for VAC advance.

I could punch the numbers in and have a play

Thats a nice spreadsheet to visualise all the numbers. Im going to move this to tools, and sticky it. I think others doing conversions without a matching factory calibration will be able to use this to get a starting point.

Thanks to our friends at thirdgen.org for creating it!

Yeah not sure why I posted where I did

If you had the info for an old dizzy you could probably get a good safe table out of it. Even if its rpm is backwards
