Most likely stupid question, ive just installed Windows 10 Tech Preview. I cant get the plug in to work.
TP5 RT has installed and working. Flash tool working although have not connected to a ecu yet. My USB ALSL is connected and on com port 4.
Ive copied the .dll to the plug in folder but does not appear in the preferences screen of TP. Just ELM327 and a tuner pro option.

I have set this up on vista and 7 a few times but never 8 or now 10. I understand if its not supported on unreleased version of windows.
This is not my every day machine but would love to use it where possible.

All help appreciated.

I havnt tried win 10 but sounds like you need the vc 2010 runtime from microsoft for the dll to be loadable.

Thanks I will look that up. I like this Windows 10 I never ran Win 8 only used it once on a mates PC. Don't like it.
Its nothing like 8 and similar to 7. Worth an upgrade from 7 I say.

Very wary of lots of things here, turned of all their "feedback features" doubt that even turns them off!
Even thought about covering my webcam (built in to the laptop screen)

9 might have been a dud.
