I tried a TIS compatible, and MPPS V16. So If I use the TIS I need to first install the Techstream software?

XHorse-MVCI. I got it working and can read and change the vin but it comes up operation unsuccessful but it did change the last number of the vin and then read it again and it did in fact change it. I have all the ECU info with main OS 92179470 which was confirmed with my scantool the engine Cal is 92190929 system Cal is 92179471. But I can't read the Calibration or Flash without getting the Operation unsuccessful. Sorry I'm learning.

In my e38/e67 flash app, I limited writing to 0x800, seems most tools support this.
