The diagram I found shows an extra Positive power to pin 1. Is that necessary?

So whats the pin 40 O volts I have on my diagram? Is that a negative?

Not needed

I think Pin 40 is Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor #1 - Sensor Ground

Is it possible to get the program to retrieve the CVN of the segments, that way you can tell if the ECU has a non-stock program in it without having to read it?

Which link did you use? I noticed its not listing ECMs anymore.

If you had the CVNs noted down from stock files youd be able to tell at a glance if it is possible to readout those memory locations, perhaps list them next to the OS & cal ids?
