I agree with Antus, no need to add obdx support.

Because this program existed even before I started coding. It has worked since the first day I ever used it, and still works perfectly fine.

Sometimes its a situation of "don't fix it unless its broken".

There's no need to add J2534 support to the flash tool when the ECU's it's designed to work for predate J2534.

If your playing with the older Delco ECU's your not using a J2534 tool.

Okay this might seem like the dumbest question. Im having a day. I have a 808 with the ECM comms board fitted. When using the flash tool I just plug in the usb and it should then connect or do I need to have it in a car/powered up. I did try searching but brains slow today

you have to have 12p on the memcal / nvram, and "should connect" depends what your connecting too, but delco ose flashtool with the right config should work, or tunerpro with oseplugin and the right setup. Note that there was a recent version of tunerpro that was broken for plugins. If you downloaded it in the last month or two, probably worth grabbing the latest again.

Yeah it has the 12p v6 stacked.bin from the zip file on it. Just couldn't remember if it had to be be powered up to have comms or not with the flash tool. I was pretty sure I'd be chasing a win10/laptop problem this new one been nothing but trouble tbh.

yeah it has to be powered up, ignition on. if its an nvram you need the wire on the back of the pcm installed too, otherwise it'll corrupt and you need to put it back in to a programmer.

Yep of course it does. Damn I'm not having a good day. Just remembered doing it out of the car but probably did it with the nvram removed on the burner. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
