Hi All,
Just wondering I know there is a thread to make up a VX-VY NA bench harness, but wondering if anyone has any details on a VT (or VX & VY L67) bench harness?
I'm not sure whether the plugs plug into either/&/or both of the PCM's or whether I need to seperate lots of cables?
Cheers VX L67 Getrag

Re: Bench Test Harness VT
Dug up a real old thread here, was just making up a harness and thought I'd see if the info was already here on DH.
Anyway, have had a look through the wiring and think only the following wires are needed to power up the ECU and connect the ALDL.
A1, A2, B1, B2 .....Black/Red all join together as ground, also join ALDL pin 5 to this.
A8, B8...............Purple, join together as permanent +12V
A4...................Pink, switched ignition +12V
A3...................Red/Black, Serial data to ALDL pin 9
F14..................White/Black, ALDL enable on ALDL pin 6
This is all that should be needed to power up the ECU on a bench.

Re: Bench Test Harness VT
i use the same wiring for VS-VY for essential items on my bench, then second wiring plugs piggybacked for flash pcm's.
