Re: ECU
Antus,i think it was what holden used to cal the c/dores around MY94 and the purple connector blocks i think point to VS ish?
RT calibration with the computer ribbon to maybe an anologue Delco hardware box with all the pots to change parameters on the fly and quick change chip access.....kinda like what we are doing now without the huge hardware i'm guessing.
Its a proper Delco item as the board and ribbon are soldered like production, not like my ZIF socketed stuff.
I haven't done anything with it and i assume its just a "plug a chip in and run" thing.
I'd say later ECU connectors too but haven't check against my VN/VR connectors.
I'll check it out one day i suppose

Re: ECU
it looks like an SB Barina development unit, the ribbon connector goes to the stack used in the calibration development in those days.
i have a VTV8 one with the instrumentation connector & an LS1 unit too.

Re: ECU
Hi Rob,i thought you would chime in yeah the stack it is...as you would have worked with them.
Does the part # tell its for Barina?
Do they just work as a normal ECU..ie load the chip and away you go?
Cheers...Mario
