Camira Reluctor waveform

Post by antus »

Due to bordom I decided to bust out the USB scope and get a screen shot of the exact waveform coming from my camira reluctor pickup. After screwing with the scope and positioning of the wires for a while I managed to come up with this:

I wouldnt exactly call it a sine wave, but yeah an AC wave none the less.

on a similar note, here is the waveform as seen @ pin B5 on the ecu on my v8 (hall effect dizzy). ill take another one when I get bored straight from the hall effect sensor.
ive been doing some waveform logging to figure out why my rpm signal is erratic in my aldl logs. logged using a voltage divider straight into my sound card and a free oscilloscope program off the net.
