Possible VSS For Cable Speedo Cpnversions

Post by delcowizzid »

well while researching for lada info for our french buddy I came accross this pic of the lada VSS for the delco ecu.and low and behold it has a cable output with a dust cap on it as well as the stock 3 wire pulse output setup .looks good for an easy swap for certian gearboxes with threaded speedo cable drives.availiabuility of the part is an unknown.

These are on Ebay. Just search for Lada Niva Speed Sensor.
I have ordered one from Russia. Will see what it fits.

Looks higher quality than the Lada one. Then again, the Lada one was only $18 delivered.

Here's a great source for VSS sensors that go between the gearbox and speedo cable, or splice into the speedo cable :- http://www.brantz.co.uk/sensors.htm
