808 VSS input - piullup needed?

Post by festy »

I'm going to wire up a HE sensor that I found in my parts collection for VSS, the datasheet recommends a pull-up resistor between VCC and output for open collector sinking - is this needed for the 808?

It shouldnt need one, the 808 has an internal 5.1k pullup to ign voltage

I was wondering whether it would be quicker to post the question, or mount it and try it out...
No competition, I haven't even got the wheel off yet and you've given me that answer!

Thanks once again, this forum gives better support than any aftermarket ECU manufacturer could ever manage
