808 to control low pressure LPG TBI injector

It seems to me that it mightn't be an impossible stretch to use the existing car electronics to drive a low pressure LPG injector aiming into the throttle body upstream of the butterfly. All the benefits of closed loop and adaptive learning etc. I'm sure someone must have done this somewhere.
