Hi all
Have a set of AU XR8 injectors here that I'm planning to use for a conversion, trying to figure out the correct flow rate. They are the blue EV6 unit with Ford logo stamped on them, USCAR connector. Ford part number on one side is XS2E-B5A, and Bosch on the other is 0 280 155 903.
Now that all seems logical but if you look up the Bosch part number you get 150.2g flow rate at 3 bar which equates to around 20lb. However all the Ford guys seem to think that these are 24lb; normally I'd discount that in favour of the Bosch specs being correct but it seems odd that all these guys would have tunes set up for 24lb injectors working, and they are after all a Ford specific application so maybe Ford is involved with producing them? Also the XR8s run them in the 220kW models at only 2.7bar which seems a little marginal if they are only 20lb injectors.
Don't suppose anyone has any info that can confirm one way or the other? Thanks very much
