yeah but if you have a spark shift thats rpm depandent it really wont matter though, because if you tune spark for max torque its still going to be right the only thing that might not be right is the actual spark compared to what is being commanded ?
i know for correctness sake you probably want it to read what is being commanded, but as far as functionality goes is it really going to make any difference ?

Your quite right in that if you can in effect give your curve a continual uphill slope to offset any lag then no probs. The circuit I was working on was for a springs and weights distributor that came out of Fred Flintstone's car I think. No ECU so couldn't dial out any lag after the fact.

yeah fair enough, i can't remember the last time i had anything to do with weights and springs in a dizzy other than removing them and locking it
