Re: VS V8 knock sensor
On my 304 vs I just put fittings in each side as normal and shaped the pipe to go in the tunnel of the bananas to miss the dizzy.

Re: VS V8 knock sensor
i'd say they just tap it into the rear of the valley where the valley blocks the rear water ports coming out of the head. A lot of the speedway guys do this on their chevs, but they put it back to the thermostat housing with a spacer below it. tapped into that.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: VS V8 knock sensor
Crossover mod is a bit off topic but seems like a good idea just read up on it & seems GM did it in the later v8's them self!
Pretty annoyed with eBay more & more CRAP on there now, bought supposed genuine GM V8 knock sensor & pulled bung out & went to fit it.... Bung thread looked bigger before I took it out but thought I'd go ahead anyway.
But knock sensor thread measures around 10x1.5 & the bung something like 13x1.5 so a complete waste of time!
