no, had 2 sets of VT with 2 different ideas. binned that idea lol.

you are lucky that google showed my post. its the only one about them in existence :lol: I spent over a year googling hoping to find a pic of some.

your vp looks good what size steel did you use for the brackets

the brackets are the real deal, cast iron. but they are made up of 3 basic flat shaped arranged together. So that makes them super easy to copy.

you just need 2 main flat bits that you bolt up, and make the 3rd piece up as its the gusset, tack in place, remove then fully weld it up.

the left side mount required one slight bend on the bit that bolts to the sump.

Will get some pics and measurements tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback on the VP, but I have changed my mind about which VP I am going to restore. I am doing my vacationer now its got no dodgy repairs at all and is very straight, no accidents . Going to get most of it done professionally by Max Hayes at Hayes garage.

The section that bolts to the sump is 14mm thick at the boss and the flat part that bolts to the bell housing is 12mm thick at the boss.

The one with the slight bend is passenger side.
