I measured it up, the middle one will work well.

I figured I can have threaded bosses made up and the existing bosses recessed a little to turn the chamfer into a recess, tape the hole and then I can screw in the new bosses.

I will have to get the injector clearance bump above the existing bosses filled with weld as well so that when the port is machined out it doesn't break through that spot.

I won't need these any time soon, but thats the next project after the red VP :D
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Digging your thread up as it seems likely I would get an answer here.
A few years ago (maybe 4-5 or 6) I bought these injectors off a guy from Qld.
I am really bad for buying stuff that I don't need to use right then & there.
So unwrapping these supposedly Bosch 42lb green giants yesterday I notice one is different to the rest (set of 6).
While 5 have numbers each side one has its numbers melted off. At the top they all have a captial letter "B" , where as the suspect one has capital "E".
Have heard that there is fake copies out there, so anyone able to tell if one or all of these injector are fake bosch 42lb .

The 5th one is different too, came from a different moulding machine with the small circles in a different spot. Its pretty suspicious that the part number is melted off the 6th. I'd be interested to see what others think from the above, but i'd definitely be dubious and wanting to flow test them before trying them.

Pretty suspect with numbers melted, no idea really though without testing done

Out of interest how do the genuine green one's perform? I've heard some bad feedback but can't be sure on the quality of the one's I've heard about. Reason is a mates has some in an LS1 and it doesn't run very well. He won't have a bar of injector testing and I'm suspicious of them.

And it's been tuned with stock injector data still, never ideal.
