Bit of an update, i ent out to the shed tonight checked over some wiring nothing obvious while still on the engine anyway.
Connect up the laptop get the usual beep and click emulate all ok. Then no feedback from anything, but i can download and upload a BIN via flash tool. Screen shots to follow.

i think its connected ok but i dont understand hy no data is being displayed?

I just noticed the dash display says MAP B I always run MAP A the jumper on my NVRAM is set to A I think.
I will get a pic up of it.

did you click the 2 arrows to log data LOL
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Temp sensor checks out ok, when i get it runing i will try and log the input from the dissy hall effect and see how it looks.
Thanks Delcowizzid here i was thinking my ecu was stuffed.

I haven't checked the reg yet but if the hose was fuelly what would that indicate?

That the fuel reg is leaking fuel directly into the intake manifold. via the vacuum hose.
