Chinese UV Eraser Lifespan

Post by The1 »

Well one of mine just died, bulb burnt out, estimated to have done about 85hrs of erasing :) onto the next one, what sort of life has everyone else been getting? Not bad for the $12 in the end.

yeah my switch died and i twitched it up to bypass it and lost the knob... but its still going :D in the early days I used to have issues with having to smack it to get it going coz the bulb was going at half brightness, but that sort of went away lol

my tray has a memcal slot cut in it but i have the lid unscrewed and just drop memcals and eproms in from above.the timer is in hours not minutes i use a stopwatch LOL and turn it with pliers due to no knob to get the lid off.bulbs can be bought local for cheap.
