yeah looks like if you remove that o-ring from the hole it would probably allow a hose over it like normal.... shame that its so hard to find decent ones these days!

Yeah it should fit fine, from the Delphi data sheet the barb is 5.8mm compared to 6.35mm on the Delco style we are all used to.

Will try an LS style Delphi as these (hopefully) seem easier to find genuine.

Any one know of any more interchage numbers for the delco 2 bar?

So far I have searched GM with:

16009886
16040609
12247571

No luck with any of them.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

I use this bosch 0281002437 not the same plug or mounting more like the ls1 style and it is 3 bar but works fine for me and if you want it also has built in temp sensor as well

Edit:Data sheet with a few other sensors on it http://360.haubits.net/VolvoRacing.se/Sensors.pdf

Have gone for a LS1 style 2 bar sensor, hopefully it ends up being better. The same test as below (but with the sealed case still) and heating the thing for ages using a full size heat gun until the case is well and truly heat soaked, showed only 0.01V change. This is well under 1 kPa variation and the PCM wouldn't have changed its MAP reading with the 8 bit A/D.

So anyway, with the Chinese Delco copy sensor and a hot air station set to its lowest setting of 100 degC (ie low flowing relatively cool air compared to the test I did on the LS1 sensor) this is what happens with the case open. The voltage readings translate to 100kPa when it started to a peak of 108kPa. The tempco is atrocious...

The other odd thing... the MAP sensor read more vacuum (ie MAP reading lower, voltage lower) when idling using a heat gun on the car, opposite to the video. I didnt get a vid of this, made the wrong assumption it would be repeatable on the bench at atmo pressure and have already installed the LS1 sensor.

So the short of it, total junk.

that's pretty much the same thing I saw in a car, 100kpa at atmo cold, engine warmed up to running temp and there was like 8kpa variation in atmo readings! I then left the sensor powered up for 30 minutes or so and data logged it to see the atmo reading slowly head back to 100kpa as it cooled down!

One of the best bits of Chinese technology I have seen in a long time. Where is the pressure sensor?

I think its the dot in the chip in the sealed chamber. But yes very poor output.
