My narrowband seems to be always around 450 mv so i just ignore it.
The manaul only says the auto sequencer is 13.3 and 16.6 but as you said mine does 10 13.3 16.6 and also 20
then goes to real reading.

Looks like there are some differences in firmware maybe?

Seems really odd whats happening, the spartan uses a RC filter from a PWM signal so is affected by loading. The wideband input on pin D8 has a 51K pull down resistor which is normally ok for this type of filter.

I emailed Alan a couple of days ago with a description of the issue and the monitor pics I posted in this thread (startup sequence, 14.6 ceiling etc), and it's going to be returned under warranty.
