Have ran them on a mate's V6 race car running methanol. Work fine no gains noticed. Which can be good given some of the other's around.

I've tested at least twice this many and these are the fails or ones I wouldn't bother with <40mm goes to show a 20yr old coil might work but how well? Nfi unless you can test and verify. Lol

I have a set of MSD coils I'd like tested. Can I send them over? If so can you PM me details.

Thanks

Testing MSD coils i noticed the same part number has revisions over the years. They all test the same average of 50mm

LS coils are the only worth while upgrade, only with ultra high comp or boosted that is, no point on mild to stock NA
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

The best bank for buck ive found is these Gorst Coils $60 for 3 coils delivered is cheap as, so far been going fine on my car for 2 months, retested them and still the same, they perform the same as MSD's, otherwise if you can invest in a LSX coil setup that will beat all of them.

Note that i got some GORST Coils that had gold terminals and some silver, but both performed the same for me.

Didn't realise Gorst coil option was cheaper than $90-$100 for 3 delphi.

Yes have a look on my first post it has the graph of all the coils ive tested. Gorst being the best bank for buck and same performance as MSD, if you want to stay genuine then delphi is ok but not as much spark, i wouldn't waste money on MSD put that into a LSX setup.
