$19 Cruise control stalk upgrade

Post by L67PSI »

Hi all,

Some of you may have seen this before. VX series 2 cruise control stalk upgrade. It suits VR, VS, VT, VX s1 Holden's with factory cruise control. Cost was $15 for used stalk on eBay and $4 for some crimp on connectors.

Here are the before and after pics on my VT calais.

I can't take credit for this, as it came from the JC forum : https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/th ... ion.98266/

and https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/th ... rms.93614/

Pic of the wiring diagram.

This might be helpful for some who want to do the conversion. I found the VX S2 stalk easier to use / adjust while driving.

Cheers

According to JC forum, drawing was from 2001. Must say it was well done.

Did my stalk upgrade on my VS Berlina, I originally got standard stalks which works fine for indicator but not wiper as standard doesn't have intermittent, got another stalk and also got loom plugs, so its easy if I need to put new stalks in.

Looks nice in the VS. Is it a Calais / Berlina?

It's a VS Berlina.

Exec stalks have intermitant but it's not variable, the wiring is the same but the stalks internal wiring is different, the wipers dont even work, so you need like for like. All working fine now with a Berlina Stalk.
