Flash chips can always be removed and replaced with a socket if necessary :twisted:

however while trawling google i found this:
http://www.elecauto.com/vol940.htm
OPEL VECTRA 1.6L 16V NL16202319 CHK:1021 DELCO PLCC3229F010 NL16202319 BSSC
OPEL VECTRA 1.6L 16V NL16202319 CHK:12E9 DELCO 27C010 NL16202319 BUFH VE16BUFH.ORI 932
OPEL VECTRA 1.6L 16V NL16202319 CHK:999B DELCO 27C010 NL16202319 BUFH OPELV~15.STD 3203

PLCC3229F010 = PLCC 1Mb flash
27c010 = DIP32 eprom

andoro2me, you mention that you ecm has the 40 pin holes for a memcal header?
so perhaps the flash can simply be removed and a memcal header be installed.

I know that ... Right now I'm trying to connect Ostrich 2.0 to the ecm through a custom PLCC extension cable (cause a DIP Socket to PLCC Plug adapter wont fit in the original box). I found the cable at http://www.emutec.com/pjetadpt.html

sadly it's not that easy charlay86 ... but I found out that a guy from the saab forums did it on his saab 9-3 turbo ... He hooked up some keihin lpg injectors to the secondary stock ecm after remapping ...
