147 LUX BCM Wiring Loom

Post by dannyboyds »

Hey everyone,

I know its not a good first post, asking for information but here goes.

My car recently had a small fire damaging my loom comming from the BCM to the fuse panel, etc, etc.

The loom is quite rare as it is to suit a 147 LUX BCM (Berlina, Calais) with four loom connectors for the BCM, I was hoping someone here could provide some diagrams so I can get to work with a multimeter and determine which wires in the tangle of Holden duct tape are damaged/not connected or which ones are meant to end up where.

Thank you in advance.

I have a VR loom sitting in my boot, the VR had an 885 Lux which only has two BCM connectors, I dont think it will do the job, thanks anyway.

VR & VS Lux BCM are basically the same animal.
they are actually pin compatible.
one of the connectors is on a seperate harness

well i can tell you now three quarters of the wiring diagram book relates to the bcm connectors so i think your options are:

a. get a new loom
b. get the book and set aside alot of time!

ok Holden202 Well my loom is out of the car and sitting there, given how hard it seems to be to locate another one to suit my car, i'll be fixing this one.

Thank you everyone for the help/input so far its been great.

Well things arn't going so well,

What was I supposed to open that file with Holden202? it doesn't have a file name extension?

Dr Bob you are correct (We allready knew that) And i'm considering trying to use a VR loom now. I didnt notice the second module on the VR I was looking at as it was at a wreckers and allready quite butchered, then my I had look at my mates VR the other day, he has a HI level BCM with two connectors on the back, then a second module strapped to that with another lot of connectors, looks the goods.

Once again everyone thank you for your help thus far, this has been a looong and annoying journey, especially for those getting up at 4:30am to take me to work :P

Oh one more thing, what about a 149-HI out of a VS ?
