Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
Thought id share this here, doing a couple up for some people who want full enhanced mod but without repinning the loom or replacing. Takes me about 3hours from start to finish, have tested so far in the wagon, it functions identical to a VX/VY S/C PCM as you would expect, hooked it in and did a relink with tech2, realtime tuning with nvram and oseplugin all worked flawless, before this the flashpcm was a dog, especially with all the systems in this berlina, bcm, cluster, airbag, climate control and abs on the bus, i had to take the flash pcm out and flash it on the bench, not sure why one works and other doesn't, obviously code differences somewhere, Next version id make the loom longer as there is no room down at the firewall, will have to store it up behind the glovebox area. Also of note, use pin numbers not colours as they do vary between models.

Re: Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
thanks guys! Took the wagon into work today, only found 1 problem, had PRNDL A going to Pressure Switch A and vica versa, didn't actually seem to give any issues was only when i wasn't datalogging and was going through the gears i noticed 123 gears didn't display on the dash. Ive uploaded the spreadsheet again with the wires swapped.

not bad considering the amount of wires in there!

Re: Replace Flash PCM With VX/VY S/C PCM
here's another one i did, bit better, more loom and tidier job. Has inputs run off ready to be attached and also 5volt for sensor use.
