I'm extending a VP V6 auto engine harness to fit into my 97 Jeep Cherokee. While making some checks & altering the loom to fit VL400 ignition unit in, I've found that the wiring diagram is different to the loom,I think.
In the diagram I have A12/D10/D6/ALDL all connected to the same point on the block & D1/D3 connected at the other point. The loom that I'm using has A12/D10 connected, D1/D3 connected & D6 isn't connected to either of the 2 ground connections, but is connected to the ground side of the O2 sensor, does this have connection through the ECU once powered? I didn't check the loom for continuity before I extended it, but only cut & added 1 wire at a time.

Re: 808 Earths
you sure its not a VR V6 manual loom ?
it sounds like it has the same earthing as my vr v6 manual wiring diagram, it has the o2 sensor ground going to D6 by itself then also to Location E wherever that is.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Loom is from a VP wagon.
