Map sensor
Re: Map sensor
I want to delete the maff but ?
Re: Map sensor
You can't just remove it and put a map in. You need the code in your memcal to suit.
Such as Kalmaker on the current ecu or rewire entire engine to suit the older VR ecu.

Re: Map sensor
Why do you want to remove it?
As above you cant just remove the MAF and replace it with a MAP sensor.
If you want to run a MAP sensor your only choice is a full kalmaker tune or convert your car to a VR ecu or earlier.
or i guess a full aftermarket computer.
You really need to pick a tuner and go with what ever they want to use. MAP or MAF.
If you want to go MAP its not going to take long to wire a MAP sensor in either. No offense but it doesn't sound like you have a great amount of knowledge so it might be better to let the tuner wire it or do some more research on the matter first.

Re: Map sensor
Tuner usually supplies and fits the map sensor. Better that wayJosh_lock wrote:I won't be doing the tune haha
But I do need to know how to wire it up and what not if you could tell me how to do that it would be great
And also where to get one from thanks
