if i delete the efi on my vn5l(whiCh i have done)
i have disconnected th ign module and dizzy and coil and gone back to crane hi 6 and a crane dizzy aswell

all the sensors ie. oil light, both temp senders are all still there

will i need to have the rpm to have the speedo operating at all ???

cn i directly wire the tach out into the cluster( it is level 3)
i know i may need a tach adaptor tho which is fine

help guys

just a picture for you guys too see where its at

it is running but no tacho yet. ill know about thermos and all the rest tomorrow while running in the cam

Shouldn't you be converting it to EFI, not away from...? :-P

The speedo signal is standalone and goes to the dash first so that should work fine.

The tach signal also goes direct from the original ignition module to the dash so you should be able to use the output from your new box directly, not sure but I don't think it will need any adapter.
