isn't the SIDI the same as the VZ motor (other than SIDI changes) which is 3.6ltr ?

There 2 SIDI motors, a 3.0 Litre for Omega and Berlina and a 3.6 for the SV6 and Calais.
The old non SIDI 3.6 also continues for factory LPG models.

Hey guys

well after some research i found that tapping into the VSS wiring causes the ecu to fault. GM has made a VSS Interface Module PN# 92196495 . This plugs into the CAN Data Bus and gives a VSS pulse output........ hahahahaha almost a GM rev.eng. project ;-)
