Hey guys, im currently wiring up my brothers ute.
Its a stroked 355 holden using an 808 with 12p.
I have half of an old 808 loom, but have sourced a VS auto 5l loom and have repinned it into the 808 connectors, but just want to confirm a few things:
5v reference for MAP sensor. 808 shares this with IAT, vs has 2 seperate 5v references. Do i just merge them to use the 1 from the 808?
Injector control. VS shows 2 seperate circuits for each group of injectors. VN shows them JOINED external to the ecu. I assume it doesnt matter which way I put them in the 2 808 pins, but should I or should I not join them externally in the loom?
Thanks

no doesn't matter and I wouldn't bother joining them but its up to youVN shows them JOINED external to the ecu. I assume it doesnt matter which way I put them in the 2 808 pins, but should I or should I not join them externally in the loom?

Re: VS V8 auto to 808 repinning
Its to balance small differences in voltage drop in the wiring and connections. Which if not done can make small changes in injector opening times from bank to bank. Also redundancy if a connection goes bad.
Same idea as tying separate grounds together within the harness.

I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
