vs va auto injector wiring

Hi, just trying to help out a sparky mate he is wiring a vs v8 auto with the 424 pcm in to a fj holden any way he can't get the injectors to fire is it d1 used to pulse the injectors instead of a5 on the 808 , i have turned of the vats in the memcal for him. regards Jason

I am not totally sure what you mean but the injectors pulsing is based on the signal from the ignition module to pin D14, on the 808 thats B5. The wire that the PCM pulls to ground to switch on/off the injectors is pin C15 and C16.

im not sure what the reference to 808 are ?

i assume your using the vs v8 engine loom and the electronic auto aswell ?

Ive seen holden202 mention an injector fuse. Im not sure of the details but if theres been a short at some stage, could be a problem there.

you'd know about it if that was the case, its the main feed to the PCM ....

Hi, I will have to check the earths, to see why it isn't switching the injectors to earth , but it has spark ? but no injector pulse I'm postive i've turned the vats off i used cats tuner and just turned the vats and knock sensor off the vs hsv tune 185kw auto. regards Jason

spark occurs regardless of the PCM, the ignition module is a completely independent unit, you can unplug the pcm and and you will still get spark while cranking. id be checking the main powers and earths to the pcm to make sure it is powering up properly

Does CATS sort the checksum for you? Can try checking the fault codes to confirm the PCM is operating.

Paste up a copy of the modified bin and we can have a look.
What was the base bin you started from, CKUP?
Also what definition CATS file are you using?
