Would a VR 424 ecu be an option for this? Being map baeed tuning may be easier.

That's an interesting question Dylan, one that would have to be answered by one of the guys that know these things. I never thought of it though. Im sure that it could be.

@ The1, I already have a serial ALDL logging cable which I bought on here, would I still require the USB version that you mentioned if I want to realtime tune? Im starting to think I should at least try first.

The beta 11P supports the VS, that is a '424 PCM from a VR or VS V8 with 1/2/3 bar MAP. Have added support for the BCM controlled low speed fan and VS anti theft system so should work for MAP conversions on a VS - there is one VS L67 running it now for testing.

Was there also an option for manual using the '424 in beta?

Not in the current beta, a flag to mask the auto fault codes is on the list of additions for future releases though. With 12P available for a manual its a low priority.

424 wouldn't have the hardware to support manual input?

As in speed sensor? The '424 supports only a reluctor using the factory hardware, mods are needed for hall type sensors.

Ah yeah, that makes sense. I forgot the '082 was used in V8 for manual

And 12P supports VS VATS so can be used in VS V8 manuals just like a factory bin.
