Hello guys
I Have a standard vn 27c 128 eprom that has a modded tune on it and hage trouble reading it. I have the settings correct and when you hit read it seems like it reading but all i get is blocks of 00...the eprom works.fine in the car
Using willem eprom programmer which i know works fine.

how are you reading it, with an adaptor in the original memcal or are you removing the eprom from the memcal to read in programmer ?

When you say you know the programmer works fine, have you at least read another 27C128 to confirm this (and that it's correctly configured)?

Sounds like bad connections to the eprom, but it could be settings, or bad connections anywhere. There is no reason it shouldnt work, you just need to check and re-check everything. If its an old school Willem (parallel port), on a modern computer there are a bunch of problems with that too which is the reason a true usb such as gq-4x is preferred.
