vs 8 man eprom. BLJX 6413 not vats in tuner pro?

hi as the topic states I opened the bljx 6413 bin to remove the vats for a mate and theres no vats option or any flags to to be honest. I'm not sure why this is so .. I used the memcal id from this site to get the xdf to match this bin and it says to use $5a I used that one still no vats option has any one come across this or does this file not have a vats option ?

Most likely there's no detailed XDF for it. If the ID tool and the XDF thread doesn't have a detailed one then you'd need to populate it yourself. Honestly burn a new one in 11P/12P.

If you want to keep the original tune then There are some xdf for the manual v8 on here under vr and vs labeled 16183082.
One of these will line up and they have vats in them.

ok got it to work but I was thinking is it possible to load the vr v8 man file BFPM2422 hsv 185w to the memcal and will still work fine with the vs system?. I know I have to max the knock sensors out I'm pretty sure I read some were

yep it will be ok with vats off,but if you want a 185 manual tune for a vs there is one (bmzl)under $5A 5.7l in the factory tune section.

Make sure you have a knock sensor if using any HSV tune.

As he mentioned earlier he will just turn it off. Most tunes I do end up with more timing on standard motors than what the hsv have and they don't knock, so he should be safe if using a good fuel but you always have to make sure.

is there an easy way to make sure the bin is byte swapped the right way be fore programming it I havnt had much to do with these earlier v8s with the ls1 flash chip I just look at the vin number and it shows if its swapped or not
