erasing 24c08 chip vz cluster

hi I was wondering if any has be able to erase the 24c08 chip that's found on the vy\yz clusters I have the chip removed to get a good read with the gq-4x but for some reason it wont erase the chip ..

Yep works fine for me - read, erase and write.

hmm ok than what type of adapter do you use that may be my issue I presume ?

myn will read the chip but when I go to erase it will go to 100% and just sit there and nothing happens ive tried in the device menu 24c08 and is24c08*tssop8

all sweet got it to work now I gotta work the algorithms out for the cluster

It's all about getting a good connection with adapter!
There was a xdf floating around either on this site or carmodder for vy-vz clusters!

I just wrote straight over the chip didn't erase it
