Ahh ok, I haven't come across that type of protection scheme before.

Programmable array of logic. Its a generic chip programmed to do super secret undisclosed things which the kalmaker tune can look for to make sure you have a security pal. If you can read the eprom chip you can use the1's bin id tool and identify what model the tune is for but that probably wont help you beyond that. Since its not an NVRAM you can assume the code on the chip is good (not guaranteed, especially with no sticker over the windows - with daylight on it for sh*tloads of time i't'll eventually erase from natural UV. Most likely though, the kit came off a different model car and the tune is not compatible with your computer. Do you know what car the kit came from (assuming not new)?
